Recruiters want people who have education, skills, workplace experience, and demonstrated leadership and responsibility. For example, by getting involved in school organizations, you demonstrate leadership as well as responsibility and build social skills. It is a good idea to do some research on the company before interviewing with them to become familiar with their products, locations, what they look for.

This allows you to ask more educated questions and gives you an edge up on someone who hasn't invested the time and effort of simply visiting their website. When interviewing, some good points to remember are:
Allow the recruiter to lead (however some initiative is good). Do not restate the obvious (degree, qualifications, etc...)

Discuss your major strengths with short, specific examples. Highlight the areas not discussed in the interview you feel are especially important. Ask some final questions before leaving and describe yourself in two to three brief points .
Remember to write a thank-you letter immediately following the interview.
